Krookodile ex 55/86 · Chaos Rising

Krookodile is Pokédex #553, generation 5 (Unova). Krookodile ex is a Stage 2 ex Darkness Pokémon with 320 HP. The card says it evolves from Krokorok. In this catalog that name is Krokorok (#552).

Krookodile ex sits at 55/86 in Chaos Rising, position 55 of 122. Before it is 54 Skuntank, and after it is 56 Trubbish. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on May 22, 2026. The printed size is 86. This checklist is longer, at 122 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

The attack Corner lists 80 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, the Defending Pokémon can't retreat. Strong Bite is another attack lists 140+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Colorless. If this Pokémon has a Pokémon Tool attached, this attack does 140 more damage. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is I.

Krookodile (#553) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 14 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Krookodile 65/114 in Black & White (2011). That card is named Krookodile, while this one is Krookodile ex. That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 320 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Double Rare. Masakazu Fukuda illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Krookodile list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Chaos Rising set binder is where a full Chaos Rising set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Krookodile can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
