Pikachu 28/128 · 30th Celebration

Pikachu is Pokédex #025, generation 1 (Kanto). Pikachu is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP.

Pikachu sits at 28/128 in 30th Celebration, position 28 of 161. Before it is 27 Pikachu, and after it is 29 Pikachu. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 16, 2026. The printed size is 128. This checklist is longer, at 161 cards. The listed rarity is Pikachu Rare.

Lonely Gaze is listed as Ability. As long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, attacks used by your opponent's Active Pokémon do 20 less damage (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Pika Ball lists 20 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The regulation mark is J.

Pikachu (#025) has 212 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 90 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pikachu 58/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Pikachu Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and sowsow illustrated this one. 144 other cards of Pikachu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads sowsow. I count 104 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

30th Celebration set binder is where a full 30th Celebration set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pikachu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Pikachu cards. I still need this card.
