Pikachu 38/128 · 30th Celebration

30th Celebration is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 16, 2026. The printed size is 128. This checklist is longer, at 161 cards. Pikachu is 38/128, in position 38 of 161 on this checklist. Before it is 37 Pikachu, and after it is 39 Pikachu. The listed rarity is Pikachu Rare.

Pikachu is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 60 HP. In the Pokédex this is Pikachu (#025), generation 1 (Kanto).

Tetsu Kayama illustrated this card. The same name is on 18 other cards in the catalog.

Pikachu (#025) has 212 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 90 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pikachu 58/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Pikachu Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Tetsu Kayama illustrated this one. 144 other cards of Pikachu list a different HP.

The attack Targeted Spark lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning. This attack does 20 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The regulation mark is J.

I keep a set binder for 30th Celebration, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the 30th Celebration set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pikachu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Pikachu cards. I still need this card.
