Pikachu 40/128 · 30th Celebration

Pikachu is Pokédex #025, generation 1 (Kanto). Pikachu is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 80 HP.

Pikachu sits at 40/128 in 30th Celebration, position 40 of 161. Before it is 39 Pikachu, and after it is 41 Pikachu. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 16, 2026. The printed size is 128. This checklist is longer, at 161 cards. The listed rarity is Pikachu Rare.

The attack Overwriting Bolt lists 10 damage. The cost is Lightning. The Defending Pokémon's Weakness is now Lightning until the end of your next turn. (Apply Weakness as x2.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The regulation mark is J.

Pikachu (#025) has 212 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 90 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pikachu 58/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Pikachu Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Shinji Kanda illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 209 other cards of Pikachu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Shinji Kanda. I count 25 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

30th Celebration set binder is where a full 30th Celebration set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pikachu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Pikachu cards. I still need this card.
