Pikachu 49/128 · 30th Celebration

30th Celebration is a set in the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 16, 2026. The printed size is 128. This checklist is longer, at 161 cards. Pikachu is 49/128, in position 49 of 161 on this checklist. Before it is 48 Pikachu, and after it is 50 Pikachu. The listed rarity is Pikachu Rare.

Pikachu is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 80 HP. In the Pokédex this is Pikachu (#025), generation 1 (Kanto).

Nurikabe illustrated this card. The same name is on 16 other cards in the catalog.

Pikachu (#025) has 212 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 90 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pikachu 58/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 40 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Pikachu Rare. Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated that card, and Nurikabe illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 3. 209 other cards of Pikachu list a different HP.

The attack Fighting Lightning lists 20+ damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon is a Pokémon ex, this attack does 80 more damage. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The regulation mark is J.

I keep a set binder for 30th Celebration, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the 30th Celebration set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pikachu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Pikachu cards. I still need this card.
