Mewtwo ex 64/128 · 30th Celebration

Mewtwo is Pokédex #150, generation 1 (Kanto). Mewtwo ex is a Basic ex Psychic Pokémon with 230 HP.

Mewtwo ex sits at 64/128 in 30th Celebration, position 64 of 161. Before it is 63 Mewtwo, and after it is 65 Mew. The set belongs to the Mega Evolution series. It was released on September 16, 2026. The printed size is 128. This checklist is longer, at 161 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

The attack Photon Bullets lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Psychic. This attack does 50 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon ex. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Psychic Powers is another attack lists 230 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Psychic. During your next turn, this Pokémon can't use attacks. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is J.

Mewtwo (#150) has 88 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 42 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mewtwo 10/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Mewtwo, while this one is Mewtwo ex. That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 230 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Double Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 3, and here it is 2. 83 other cards of Mewtwo list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

30th Celebration set binder is where a full 30th Celebration set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mewtwo can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
