Miltank 41/111 · Neo Genesis

Miltank is Pokédex #241, generation 2 (Johto). Miltank is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 70 HP. The card lists level 32.

Miltank sits at 41/111 in Neo Genesis, position 41 of 111. Before it is 40 Magmar, and after it is 42 Noctowl. The set belongs to the Neo series. It was released on December 16, 2000. The printed size is 111, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Milk Drink lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Flip 2 coins. Remove 2 damage counters times the number of heads from Miltank. If it has fewer damage counters than that, remove all of them. Body Slam is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Psychic -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its milk is packed with nutrition, making it the ultimate beverage for the sick or weary."

Miltank (#241) has 15 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 15 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Miltank 94/147 in Aquapolis (2003). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Uncommon. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Ken Sugimori illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 14 other cards of Miltank list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ken Sugimori. I count 1,112 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Neo Genesis set binder is where a full Neo Genesis set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Miltank can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
