Chimecho 24/40 · Nintendo Black Star Promos

Chimecho is Pokédex #358, generation 3 (Hoenn). Chimecho is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP.

Chimecho sits at 24/40 in Nintendo Black Star Promos, position 24 of 40. Before it is 23 Metang, and after it is 25 Flygon. The set belongs to the NP series. It was released on October 1, 2003. The printed size is 40, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Resonate lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Your opponent switches each Defending Pokémon with his or her Benched Pokémon. If your opponent has only 1 Benched Pokémon, you choose the Defending Pokémon to switch. Healing Sound is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Remove 3 damage counters from each of your Active Pokémon. Each Defending Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

Chimecho (#358) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2004 to 2024. The earliest other card is Chimecho 17/101 in Hidden Legends (2004). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Promo. Miki Tanaka illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 3 other cards of Chimecho list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Atsuko Nishida. I count 408 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Nintendo Black Star Promos set binder is where a full Nintendo Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Chimecho can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
