Mightyena 54/127 · Platinum

Mightyena is Pokédex #262, generation 3 (Hoenn). Mightyena is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 90 HP. The card lists level 47. The card says it evolves from Poochyena. In this catalog that name is Poochyena (#261).

Mightyena sits at 54/127 in Platinum, position 54 of 133. Before it is 53 Lucario, and after it is 55 Mismagius. The set belongs to the Platinum series. It was released on February 11, 2009. The printed size is 127. This checklist is longer, at 133 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Cold Feet is listed as Poké-Body. If Mightyena is affected by a Special Condition, ignore all Energy necessary to use Mightyena's attacks. The attack Collude lists 20+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. If you played any Supporter card from your hand during this turn, this attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage. Desperate Attack is another attack lists 50+ damage. The cost is Darkness, Darkness, Colorless. If Mightyena has less Energy attached to it than the Defending Pokémon, this attack does 50 damage plus 30 more damage. Weakness is Fighting +20. Resistance is Psychic -20.

Mightyena (#262) has 23 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Mightyena 10/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Atsuko Nishida illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 20 other cards of Mightyena list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Platinum set binder is where a full Platinum set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mightyena can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
