Silcoon is Pokédex #266, generation 3 (Hoenn). Silcoon is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 10. The card says it evolves from Wurmple. In this catalog that name is Wurmple (#265). The card lists Beautifly, Beautifly (#267) under evolves to.

Silcoon sits at 63/127 in Platinum, position 63 of 133. Before it is 62 Shieldon, and after it is 64 Vigoroth. The set belongs to the Platinum series. It was released on February 11, 2009. The printed size is 127. This checklist is longer, at 133 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Ascension lists no damage number. Search your deck for a card that evolves from Silcoon and put it onto Silcoon. (This counts as evolving Silcoon.) Shuffle your deck afterward. Sticky String is another attack lists 20 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. Weakness is Fire +20. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It wraps silk around the branches of a tree. It drinks rainwater on its silk while awaiting evolution."

Silcoon (#266) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Silcoon 43/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 60 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this one. 2 other cards of Silcoon list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kyoko Umemoto. I count 174 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Platinum set binder is where a full Platinum set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Silcoon can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
