Gardevoir 8/127 · Platinum

Platinum is a set in the Platinum series. It was released on February 11, 2009. The printed size is 127. This checklist is longer, at 133 cards. Gardevoir is 8/127, in position 8 of 133 on this checklist. Before it is 7 Dialga G, and after it is 9 Giratina. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Gardevoir is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 120 HP. The card lists level 61. In the Pokédex this is Gardevoir (#282), generation 3 (Hoenn). The card says it evolves from Kirlia. In this catalog that name is Kirlia (#281).

Kouki Saitou illustrated this card. The same name is on 652 other cards in the catalog.

Gardevoir (#282) has 55 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 31 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gardevoir 7/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 54 other cards of Gardevoir list a different HP.

Psychic Connect is listed as Poké-Power. As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may move a Psychic Energy attached to 1 of your Benched Pokémon to your Active Pokémon. This power can't be used if Gardevoir is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Energy Burst lists 20+ damage. The cost is Psychic. Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each Energy attached to Gardevoir and the Defending Pokémon. Psychic Protection is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. Gardevoir has no Weakness during your opponent's next turn. Weakness is Psychic +30. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Platinum, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Platinum set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gardevoir can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
