Roserade GL 12/111 · Rising Rivals

Rising Rivals is a set in the Platinum series. It was released on May 16, 2009. The printed size is 111. This checklist is longer, at 120 cards. Roserade GL is 12/111, in position 12 of 120 on this checklist. Before it is 11 Rampardos GL, and after it is 13 Shiftry. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Roserade GL is a Basic SP Grass Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 22. In the Pokédex this is Roserade (#407), generation 4 (Sinnoh).

Kanako Eo illustrated this card. The same name is on 99 other cards in the catalog.

Roserade (#407) has 16 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Roserade 13/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). That card is named Roserade, while this one is Roserade GL. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 80 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. Nakaoka illustrated that card, and Kanako Eo illustrated this one. 15 other cards of Roserade list a different HP.

The attack Poison Bind lists 10 damage. The cost is Colorless. The Defending Pokémon is now Poisoned and can't retreat during your opponent's next turn. Long Whip is another attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. If the Defending Pokémon is affected by any Special Conditions, you may do 30 damage to any 1 Benched Pokémon instead. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1.

I keep a set binder for Rising Rivals, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Rising Rivals set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Roserade can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
