Mamoswine GL 27/111 · Rising Rivals

Rising Rivals is a set in the Platinum series. It was released on May 16, 2009. The printed size is 111. This checklist is longer, at 120 cards. Mamoswine GL is 27/111, in position 27 of 120 on this checklist. Before it is 26 Jolteon, and after it is 28 Mr. Mime E4. The listed rarity is Rare.

Mamoswine GL is a Basic SP Water Pokémon with 100 HP. The card lists level 61. In the Pokédex this is Mamoswine (#473), generation 4 (Sinnoh).

Atsuko Nishida illustrated this card. The same name is on 408 other cards in the catalog.

Mamoswine (#473) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2008 to 2025. The earliest other card is Mamoswine 9/146 in Legends Awakened (2008). That card is named Mamoswine, while this one is Mamoswine GL. That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and Atsuko Nishida illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Mamoswine list a different HP.

Icy Aura is listed as Poké-Body. As long as Mamoswine GL is your Active Pokémon, put 1 damage counter on each Active Pokémon (excluding Water Pokémon) (both yours and your opponent's) between turns. The attack Avalanche lists 60 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Colorless, Colorless. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Lightning -20. Retreat cost is 4.

I keep a set binder for Rising Rivals, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Rising Rivals set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Mamoswine can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
