Lopunny 21/99 · Arceus

Arceus is a set in the Platinum series. It was released on November 4, 2009. The printed size is 99. This checklist is longer, at 111 cards. Lopunny is 21/99, in position 21 of 111 on this checklist. Before it is 20 Hariyama, and after it is 22 Manectric. The listed rarity is Rare.

Lopunny is a Stage 1 Colorless Pokémon with 80 HP. The card lists level 40. In the Pokédex this is Lopunny (#428), generation 4 (Sinnoh). The card says it evolves from Buneary. In this catalog that name is Buneary (#427).

Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this card. The same name is on 174 other cards in the catalog.

Lopunny (#428) has 18 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Lopunny 30/130 in Diamond & Pearl (2007). Both list 80 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Kagemaru Himeno illustrated that card, and Kyoko Umemoto illustrated this one. 14 other cards of Lopunny list a different HP.

Relaxing Shower is listed as Poké-Power. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may discard an Energy card from your hand. If you do, remove 1 damage counter from each of your Pokémon. This power can't be used if Lopunny is affected by a Special Condition. The attack Hover Heal lists 40 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. Remove all Special Conditions from Lopunny. Weakness is Fighting +20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "The ears appear to be delicate. If they are touched roughly, it kicks with its graceful legs."

I keep a set binder for Arceus, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Arceus set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lopunny can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
