Necrozma 101/236 · Unified Minds

Necrozma is Pokédex #800, generation 7 (Alola). Necrozma is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 130 HP.

Necrozma sits at 101/236 in Unified Minds, position 102 of 261. Before it is 100 Cosmog, and after it is 102 Poipole. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 2, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 261 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Barrier Attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Special Laser is another attack lists 100+ damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. If this Pokémon has any Special Energy attached to it, this attack does 60 more damage. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It looks somehow pained as it rages around in search of light, which serves as its energy. It's apparently from another world."

Necrozma (#800) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2021. The earliest other card is Necrozma-GX SM58/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Necrozma-GX, while this one is Necrozma. That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 20 other cards of Necrozma list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Unified Minds set binder is where a full Unified Minds set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Necrozma can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
