Aegislash 95/236 · Unified Minds

Aegislash is Pokédex #681, generation 6 (Kalos). Aegislash is a Stage 2 Psychic Pokémon with 130 HP. The card says it evolves from Doublade. In this catalog that name is Doublade (#680).

Aegislash sits at 95/236 in Unified Minds, position 96 of 261. Before it is 94 Doublade, and after it is 96 Mareanie. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 2, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 261 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Durable Blade is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack, put it into your hand instead of the discard pile. (Discard all cards attached to it.) The attack Trash Slash lists 10× damage. The cost is Colorless. This attack does 10 damage for each Item card in your discard pile. You can't do more than 130 damage in this way. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "Generations of kings were attended by these Pokémon, which used their spectral power to manipulate and control people and Pokémon."

Aegislash (#681) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 12 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2014 to 2026. The earliest other card is Aegislash 85/146 in XY (2014). That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Eske Yoshinob illustrated this one. 21 other cards of Aegislash list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Eske Yoshinob. I count 177 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Unified Minds set binder is where a full Unified Minds set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Aegislash can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
