Raichu-GX 20/68 · Hidden Fates

Hidden Fates is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 23, 2019. The printed size is 68. This checklist is longer, at 69 cards. Raichu-GX is 20/68, in position 20 of 69 on this checklist. Before it is 19 Pikachu, and after it is 21 Voltorb. The listed rarity is Rare Holo GX.

Raichu-GX is a Stage 1 GX Lightning Pokémon with 210 HP. In the Pokédex this is Raichu (#026), generation 1 (Kanto). The card says it evolves from Pikachu. In this catalog that name is Pikachu (#025).

5ban Graphics illustrated this card. The same name is on 1,629 other cards in the catalog.

Raichu (#026) has 70 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 51 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raichu 14/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Raichu, while this one is Raichu-GX. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 210 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Holo GX. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 66 other cards of Raichu list a different HP.

The attack Thunderbolt lists 120 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Spark Ball-GX is another attack lists 200 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

I keep a set binder for Hidden Fates, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Hidden Fates set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raichu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pikachu's friends. I still need this card.
