Floette 151/236 · Cosmic Eclipse

Floette is Pokédex #670, generation 6 (Kalos). Floette is a Stage 1 Fairy Pokémon with 70 HP. The card says it evolves from Flabébé. In this catalog that name is Flabébé (#669). The card lists Florges, Florges (#671) under evolves to.

Floette sits at 151/236 in Cosmic Eclipse, position 152 of 272. Before it is 150 Flabébé, and after it is 152 Florges. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 1, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 272 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Flower Picking is listed as Ability. When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon during your turn, you may choose 2 random cards from your opponent's hand. Your opponent reveals those cards and shuffles them into their deck. The attack Magical Shot lists 30 damage. The cost is Fairy, Colorless. Weakness is Metal ×2. Resistance is Darkness -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It raises flowers and uses them as weapons. The more gorgeous the blossom, the more power it contains."

Floette (#670) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 9 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Floette XY139/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. Midori Harada illustrated that card, and miki kudo illustrated this one. 3 other cards of Floette list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads miki kudo. I count 57 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Cosmic Eclipse set binder is where a full Cosmic Eclipse set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Floette can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
