Sawsbuck 16/236 · Cosmic Eclipse

Sawsbuck is Pokédex #586, generation 5 (Unova). Sawsbuck is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Deerling. In this catalog that name is Deerling (#585).

Sawsbuck sits at 16/236 in Cosmic Eclipse, position 16 of 272. Before it is 15 Deerling, and after it is 17 Rowlet. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 1, 2019. The printed size is 236. This checklist is longer, at 272 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Seasonal Blessings is listed as Ability. Once during your turn (before your attack), you may draw a card. The attack Bounce lists 60 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. You may switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "They migrate according to the seasons. People can tell the season by looking at Sawsbuck's horns."

Sawsbuck (#586) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Sawsbuck 14/114 in Black & White (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Rare Holo. Naoyo Kimura illustrated that card, and sui illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 1, and here it is 2. 6 other cards of Sawsbuck list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads sui. I count 194 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Cosmic Eclipse set binder is where a full Cosmic Eclipse set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sawsbuck can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
