Honchkrow 72/156 · Ultra Prism

Honchkrow is Pokédex #430, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Honchkrow is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 110 HP. The card says it evolves from Murkrow. In this catalog that name is Murkrow (#198).

Honchkrow sits at 72/156 in Ultra Prism, position 72 of 178. Before it is 71 Murkrow, and after it is 73 Sneasel. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 2, 2018. The printed size is 156. This checklist is longer, at 178 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Rip and Run lists no damage number. The cost is Darkness. Discard a random card from your opponent's hand. Switch this Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Speed Dive is another attack lists 90 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "If its Murkrow cronies fail to catch food for it, or if it feels they have betrayed it, it will hunt them down wherever they are and punish them."

Honchkrow (#430) has 22 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 17 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2026. The earliest other card is Honchkrow 10/123 in Mysterious Treasures (2007). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Uncommon. Kazuyuki Kano illustrated that card, and Hitoshi Ariga illustrated this one. 18 other cards of Honchkrow list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hitoshi Ariga. I count 155 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Ultra Prism set binder is where a full Ultra Prism set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Honchkrow can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
