Pheromosa 11/131 · Forbidden Light

Pheromosa is Pokédex #795, generation 7 (Alola). Pheromosa is a Basic Ultra Beast Grass Pokémon with 110 HP.

Pheromosa sits at 11/131 in Forbidden Light, position 12 of 150. Before it is 10 Gogoat, and after it is 12 Alolan Marowak. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 4, 2018. The printed size is 131. This checklist is longer, at 150 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

The attack High Jump Kick lists 20 damage. The cost is Colorless. White Ray is another attack lists 90+ damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. If you have only 1 Prize card remaining, this attack does 90 more damage. Weakness is Fire ×2. The flavor text reads "One of the Ultra Beasts. It refuses to touch anything, perhaps because it senses some uncleanness in this world."

Pheromosa (#795) has 9 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2019. The earliest other card is Pheromosa-GX SM66/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Pheromosa-GX, while this one is Pheromosa. That card lists 170 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Hitoshi Ariga illustrated this one. 7 other cards of Pheromosa list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hitoshi Ariga. I count 155 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Forbidden Light set binder is where a full Forbidden Light set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pheromosa can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
