Toxicroak 64/131 · Forbidden Light

Toxicroak is Pokédex #454, generation 4 (Sinnoh). Toxicroak is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Croagunk. In this catalog that name is Croagunk (#453).

Toxicroak sits at 64/131 in Forbidden Light, position 65 of 150. Before it is 63 Croagunk, and after it is 65 Pancham. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 4, 2018. The printed size is 131. This checklist is longer, at 150 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Poison Jab lists 30 damage. The cost is Fighting. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Poisoned. Exact Revenge is another attack lists 50+ damage. The cost is Colorless, Colorless. If any of your Psychic Pokémon were Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack during their last turn, this attack does 70 more damage. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Its knuckle claws secrete a toxin so vile that even a scratch could prove fatal."

Toxicroak (#454) has 20 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 18 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2007 to 2025. The earliest other card is Toxicroak G DP41/56 in DP Black Star Promos (2007). That card is named Toxicroak G, while this one is Toxicroak. That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. Ryota Saito illustrated that card, and Hasuno illustrated this one. 19 other cards of Toxicroak list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hasuno. I count 74 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Forbidden Light set binder is where a full Forbidden Light set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Toxicroak can fill a slot in Generation 4 binder (Sinnoh). I still need this card.
