Buzzwole 77/131 · Forbidden Light

Buzzwole is Pokédex #794, generation 7 (Alola). Buzzwole is a Basic Ultra Beast Fighting Pokémon with 130 HP.

Buzzwole sits at 77/131 in Forbidden Light, position 78 of 150. Before it is 76 Lycanroc, and after it is 78 Pangoro. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 4, 2018. The printed size is 131. This checklist is longer, at 150 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Sledgehammer lists 30+ damage. The cost is Fighting. If your opponent has exactly 4 Prize cards remaining, this attack does 90 more damage. Swing Around is another attack lists 80+ damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 more damage for each heads. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "A mysterious life-form called an Ultra Beast. Witnesses saw it pulverize a dump truck with a single punch."

Buzzwole (#794) has 13 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2026. The earliest other card is Buzzwole-GX SM69/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). That card is named Buzzwole-GX, while this one is Buzzwole. That card lists 190 HP, and this one lists 130 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Masakazu Fukuda illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Buzzwole list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Masakazu Fukuda. I count 471 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Forbidden Light set binder is where a full Forbidden Light set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Buzzwole can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
