Goodra 94/131 · Forbidden Light

Forbidden Light is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on May 4, 2018. The printed size is 131. This checklist is longer, at 150 cards. Goodra is 94/131, in position 95 of 150 on this checklist. Before it is 93 Sliggoo, and after it is 95 Ultra Necrozma-GX. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Goodra is a Stage 2 Dragon Pokémon with 160 HP. In the Pokédex this is Goodra (#706), generation 6 (Kalos). The card says it evolves from Sliggoo. In this catalog that name is Sliggoo (#705).

hatachu illustrated this card. The same name is on 31 other cards in the catalog.

Goodra (#706) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2014 to 2026. The earliest other card is Goodra 74/106 in Flashfire (2014). That card lists 150 HP, and this one lists 160 HP. Both list the rarity Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and hatachu illustrated this one. 7 other cards of Goodra list a different HP.

Hydration is listed as Ability. Whenever you attach a Water Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon, heal 20 damage from it. The attack Soaking Horn lists 80+ damage. The cost is Water, Fairy, Colorless. If this Pokémon was healed during this turn, this attack does 80 more damage. Weakness is Fairy ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The flavor text reads "It gets picked on because it's meek. But then, whoever teased it gets to feel the full force of its horns and a good swatting from its thick tail."

I keep a set binder for Forbidden Light, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Forbidden Light set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Goodra can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). I still need this card.
