Oricorio 55/168 · Celestial Storm

Celestial Storm is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 3, 2018. The printed size is 168. This checklist is longer, at 187 cards. Oricorio is 55/168, in position 56 of 187 on this checklist. Before it is 54 Minun, and after it is 56 Mr. Mime-GX. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Oricorio is a Basic Lightning Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Oricorio (#741), generation 7 (Alola).

Sekio illustrated this card. The same name is on 72 other cards in the catalog.

Oricorio (#741) has 21 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2025. The earliest other card is Oricorio SM19/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). Both list 90 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Uncommon. TOKIYA illustrated that card, and Sekio illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Oricorio list a different HP.

The attack Zappy Pom-Poms lists no damage number. The cost is Lightning. This attack does 30 damage to each Pokémon-GX and Pokémon-EX (both yours and your opponent's). (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) Electric Ball is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Lightning, Colorless, Colorless. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -20. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It creates an electric charge by rubbing its feathers together. It dances over to its enemies and delivers shocking electrical punches."

I keep a set binder for Celestial Storm, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Celestial Storm set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Oricorio can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
