Nihilego 106/214 · Lost Thunder

Lost Thunder is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 2, 2018. The printed size is 214. This checklist is longer, at 240 cards. Nihilego is 106/214, in position 106 of 240 on this checklist. Before it is 105 Mareanie, and after it is 107 Poipole. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Nihilego is a Basic Ultra Beast Psychic Pokémon with 110 HP. In the Pokédex this is Nihilego (#793), generation 7 (Alola).

Megumi Mizutani illustrated this card. The same name is on 133 other cards in the catalog.

Nihilego (#793) has 4 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 2 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2019. The earliest other card is Nihilego-GX 49/111 in Crimson Invasion (2017). That card is named Nihilego-GX, while this one is Nihilego. That card lists 180 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo GX, and here it is Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Megumi Mizutani illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 4 other cards of Nihilego list a different HP.

The attack Nightcap lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. You can use this attack only if your opponent has exactly 2 Prize cards remaining. Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon's attacks and use it as this attack. Void Tentacles is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused and Poisoned. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "One of the Ultra Beasts, it's unclear whether or not this Pokémon is sentient, but sometimes it can be observed behaving like a young girl."

I keep a set binder for Lost Thunder, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Lost Thunder set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Nihilego can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
