Jynx 68/181 · Team Up

Team Up is a set in the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 1, 2019. The printed size is 181. This checklist is longer, at 198 cards. Jynx is 68/181, in position 68 of 198 on this checklist. Before it is 67 Mr. Mime-GX, and after it is 69 Cosmog. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

Jynx is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 90 HP. In the Pokédex this is Jynx (#124), generation 1 (Kanto).

HYOGONOSUKE illustrated this card. The same name is on 76 other cards in the catalog.

Jynx (#124) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 25 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Jynx 31/102 in Base (1999). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 90 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and HYOGONOSUKE illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 24 other cards of Jynx list a different HP.

The attack Dazzle Dance lists no damage number. The cost is Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Confused. Mysterious Dance is another attack lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Colorless. For each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon, put 1 damage counter on your opponent's Pokémon in any way you like. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It sways its hips to a rhythm all its own. The precise movements of Jynx living in Alola are truly wonderful."

I keep a set binder for Team Up, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Team Up set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jynx can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). I still need this card.
