Tapu Bulu-GX SV91/94 · Hidden Fates Shiny Vault

Tapu Bulu is Pokédex #787, generation 7 (Alola). Tapu Bulu-GX is a Basic GX Grass Pokémon with 180 HP.

Tapu Bulu-GX sits at SV91/94 in Hidden Fates Shiny Vault, position 91 of 94. Before it is SV90 Shrine of Punishment, and after it is SV92 Tapu Fini-GX. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on August 23, 2019. The printed size is 94, and the checklist is the same length. The listed rarity is Rare Secret.

The attack Horn Attack lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. Nature's Judgment is another attack lists 120+ damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. You may discard all Energy from this Pokémon. If you do, this attack does 60 more damage. Tapu Wilderness-GX is another attack lists 150 damage. The cost is Grass, Grass, Colorless. Heal all damage from this Pokémon. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Tapu Bulu (#787) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2024. The earliest other card is Tapu Bulu-GX SM32/248 in SM Black Star Promos (2017). Both list 180 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Secret. PLANETA illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 5 other cards of Tapu Bulu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set binder is where a full Hidden Fates Shiny Vault set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Tapu Bulu can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). Themed lists that include this exact card are Island guardians. I still need this card.
