Raichu-GX SM213/248 · SM Black Star Promos

Raichu is Pokédex #026, generation 1 (Kanto). Raichu-GX is a Stage 1 GX Lightning Pokémon with 210 HP. The card says it evolves from Pikachu. In this catalog that name is Pikachu (#025).

Raichu-GX sits at SM213/248 in SM Black Star Promos, position 216 of 251. Before it is SM212 Gyarados-GX, and after it is SM214 Mewtwo. The set belongs to the Sun & Moon series. It was released on February 3, 2017. The printed size is 248. This checklist is longer, at 251 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Thunderbolt lists 120 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Spark Ball-GX is another attack lists 200 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Resistance is Metal -20. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon-GX rule: When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Raichu (#026) has 70 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 52 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Raichu 14/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Raichu, while this one is Raichu-GX. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 210 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 66 other cards of Raichu list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

SM Black Star Promos set binder is where a full SM Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Raichu can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Pikachu's friends. I still need this card.
