Krokorok 116/198 · Scarlet & Violet

Krokorok is Pokédex #552, generation 5 (Unova). Krokorok is a Stage 1 Fighting Pokémon with 100 HP. The card says it evolves from Sandile. In this catalog that name is Sandile (#551).

Krokorok sits at 116/198 in Scarlet & Violet, position 116 of 258. Before it is 115 Sandile, and after it is 117 Krookodile. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on March 31, 2023. The printed size is 198. This checklist is longer, at 258 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Payback lists 30+ damage. The cost is Fighting. If your opponent has exactly 1 Prize card remaining, this attack does 90 more damage. Corkscrew Punch is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting. Weakness is Grass ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "Protected by thin membranes, their eyes can see even in the dead of night. They live in groups of a few individuals." The regulation mark is G.

Krokorok (#552) has 14 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 13 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2011 to 2025. The earliest other card is Krokorok 64/114 in Black & White (2011). That card lists 90 HP, and this one lists 100 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Common. Kouki Saitou illustrated that card, and kantaro illustrated this one. 10 other cards of Krokorok list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kantaro. I count 33 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Scarlet & Violet set binder is where a full Scarlet & Violet set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Krokorok can fill a slot in Generation 5 binder (Unova). I still need this card.
