Lokix 21/193 · Paldea Evolved

Lokix is Pokédex #920, generation 9 (Paldea). Lokix is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Nymble. In this catalog that name is Nymble (#919).

Lokix sits at 21/193 in Paldea Evolved, position 21 of 279. Before it is 20 Nymble, and after it is 22 Bramblin. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on June 9, 2023. The printed size is 193. This checklist is longer, at 279 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

The attack Assaulting Kick lists 30+ damage. The cost is Grass. If this Pokémon evolved from Nymble during this turn, this attack does 100 more damage. Speed Attack is another attack lists 70 damage. The cost is Grass, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "When it decides to fight all out, it stands on its previously folded legs to enter Showdown Mode. It neutralizes its enemies in short order." The regulation mark is G.

Lokix (#920) has 4 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2025. The earliest other card is Lokix 122/182 in Paradox Rift (2023). Both list 120 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Souichirou Gunjima illustrated that card, and Anesaki Dynamic illustrated this one. 1 other cards of Lokix list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Anesaki Dynamic. I count 134 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Paldea Evolved set binder is where a full Paldea Evolved set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Lokix can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). I still need this card.
