Rookidee 225/193 · Paldea Evolved

Rookidee is Pokédex #821, generation 8 (Galar). Rookidee is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 60 HP.

Rookidee sits at 225/193 in Paldea Evolved, position 225 of 279. Before it is 224 Orthworm, and after it is 226 Maushold. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on June 9, 2023. The printed size is 193. This checklist is longer, at 279 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 193. The listed rarity is Illustration Rare.

The attack Send Back lists 10 damage. The cost is Colorless. Switch out your opponent's Active Pokémon to the Bench. (Your opponent chooses the new Active Pokémon.) Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "This Pokémon is brave and reckless. The white markings around a Rookidee's eyes intimidate fainthearted Pokémon." The regulation mark is G.

Rookidee (#821) has 6 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2020 to 2025. The earliest other card is Rookidee 150/202 in Sword & Shield (2020). Both list 60 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Illustration Rare. Akira Komayama illustrated that card, and GOSSAN illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is D, and here it is G.

The illustrator line reads GOSSAN. I count 57 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Paldea Evolved set binder is where a full Paldea Evolved set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Rookidee can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
