Skeledirge ex 258/193 · Paldea Evolved

Skeledirge is Pokédex #911, generation 9 (Paldea). Skeledirge ex is a Stage 2 ex Fire Pokémon with 340 HP. The card says it evolves from Crocalor. In this catalog that name is Crocalor (#910).

Skeledirge ex sits at 258/193 in Paldea Evolved, position 258 of 279. Before it is 257 Wo-Chien ex, and after it is 259 Chi-Yu ex. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on June 9, 2023. The printed size is 193. This checklist is longer, at 279 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 193. The listed rarity is Special Illustration Rare.

The attack Vitality Song lists 50 damage. The cost is Fire. Heal 30 damage from each of your Pokémon. Burning Voice is another attack lists 270- damage. The cost is Fire, Fire. This attack does 10 less damage for each damage counter on this Pokémon. Weakness is Water ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is G.

Skeledirge (#911) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2024. The earliest other card is Skeledirge ex 34/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos (2023). Both list 340 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Special Illustration Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and kantaro illustrated this one. 3 other cards of Skeledirge list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads kantaro. I count 33 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Paldea Evolved set binder is where a full Paldea Evolved set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Skeledirge can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). Themed lists that include this exact card are Paldea starters and Special Illustration Rares. I still need this card.
