Revavroom ex 156/197 · Obsidian Flames

Revavroom is Pokédex #966, generation 9 (Paldea). Revavroom ex is a Stage 1 ex Metal Pokémon with 280 HP. The card says it evolves from Varoom. In this catalog that name is Varoom (#965).

Revavroom ex sits at 156/197 in Obsidian Flames, position 156 of 230. Before it is 155 Varoom, and after it is 157 Dratini. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on August 11, 2023. The printed size is 197. This checklist is longer, at 230 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

Tune-Up is listed as Ability. This Pokémon may have up to 4 Pokémon Tools attached to it. If it loses this Ability, discard Pokémon Tools from it until only 1 remains. The attack Wild Drift lists 170 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Colorless. During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 1. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is G.

Revavroom (#966) has 11 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2024. The earliest other card is Revavroom 8/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos (2023). That card is named Revavroom, while this one is Revavroom ex. That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 280 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Double Rare. DOM illustrated that card, and takuyoa illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 1. 7 other cards of Revavroom list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads takuyoa. I count 64 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Obsidian Flames set binder is where a full Obsidian Flames set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Revavroom can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). I still need this card.
