Jynx ex 124/165 · 151

Jynx is Pokédex #124, generation 1 (Kanto). Jynx ex is a Basic ex Water Pokémon with 200 HP.

Jynx ex sits at 124/165 in 151, position 124 of 207. Before it is 123 Scyther, and after it is 125 Electabuzz. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on September 22, 2023. The printed size is 165. This checklist is longer, at 207 cards. The listed rarity is Double Rare.

The attack Heart-Stopping Kiss lists no damage number. The cost is Water, Colorless, Colorless. If your opponent's Active Pokémon is Asleep, it is Knocked Out. Icy Wind is another attack lists 120 damage. The cost is Water, Water, Water. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Asleep. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is G.

Jynx (#124) has 26 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 26 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Jynx 31/102 in Base (1999). That card is named Jynx, while this one is Jynx ex. That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 200 HP. The rarity there is Uncommon, and here it is Double Rare. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and Ayaka Yoshida illustrated this one. 25 other cards of Jynx list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Ayaka Yoshida. I count 128 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

151 set binder is where a full 151 set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Jynx can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are Winter: Ice Pokémon and Modern living dex: the 151. I still need this card.
