Greavard 42/91 · Paldean Fates

Greavard is Pokédex #971, generation 9 (Paldea). Greavard is a Basic Psychic Pokémon with 70 HP.

Greavard sits at 42/91 in Paldean Fates, position 42 of 245. Before it is 41 Flittle, and after it is 43 Houndstone. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on January 26, 2024. The printed size is 91. This checklist is longer, at 245 cards. The listed rarity is Common.

The attack Graveyard Gamboling lists 10× damage. The cost is Psychic. This attack does 10 damage for each Psychic Pokémon in your discard pile. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "This friendly Pokémon doesn't like being alone. Pay it even the slightest bit of attention, and it will follow you forever." The regulation mark is G.

Greavard (#971) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 5 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2025. The earliest other card is Greavard 70/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos (2023). Both list 70 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Common. Nisota Niso illustrated that card, and yuu illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Greavard list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads yuu. I count 28 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Paldean Fates set binder is where a full Paldean Fates set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Greavard can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). Themed lists that include this exact card are Halloween: Ghost Pokémon and Dog Pokémon. I still need this card.
