Iron Crown ex 206/162 · Temporal Forces

Iron Crown is Pokédex #1023, generation 9 (Paldea). Iron Crown ex is a Basic ex Future Psychic Pokémon with 220 HP.

Iron Crown ex sits at 206/162 in Temporal Forces, position 206 of 218. Before it is 205 Walking Wake ex, and after it is 207 Iron Boulder ex. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on March 22, 2024. The printed size is 162. This checklist is longer, at 218 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 162. The listed rarity is Special Illustration Rare.

Cobalt Command is listed as Ability. Attacks used by your Future Pokémon, except any Iron Crown ex, do 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Twin Shotels lists no damage number. The cost is Psychic, Colorless, Colorless. This attack does 50 damage to 2 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance, or by any effects on those Pokémon. Weakness is Darkness ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is H.

Iron Crown (#1023) has 4 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 2 sets. The other dated printings are from 2024. The earliest other card is Iron Crown ex 81/162 in Temporal Forces (2024). Both list 220 HP. The rarity there is Double Rare, and here it is Special Illustration Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and nagimiso illustrated this one. 1 other cards of Iron Crown list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads nagimiso. I count 156 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Temporal Forces set binder is where a full Temporal Forces set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Iron Crown can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). Themed lists that include this exact card are Paradox Pokémon and Special Illustration Rares. I still need this card.
