Slither Wing 26/64 · Shrouded Fable

Slither Wing is Pokédex #988, generation 9 (Paldea). Slither Wing is a Basic Ancient Fighting Pokémon with 140 HP.

Slither Wing sits at 26/64 in Shrouded Fable, position 26 of 99. Before it is 25 Bloodmoon Ursaluna, and after it is 27 Zubat. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on August 2, 2024. The printed size is 64. This checklist is longer, at 99 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Iron Smasher lists 20+ damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. If your opponent has any Future Pokémon in play, this attack does 120 more damage. Smashing Wing is another attack lists 130 damage. The cost is Fighting, Fighting, Colorless. Discard 2 Energy from this Pokémon. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The regulation mark is H.

Slither Wing (#988) has 2 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 1 set. The other dated printings are from 2023. The earliest other card is Slither Wing 107/182 in Paradox Rift (2023). Both list 140 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. Anesaki Dynamic illustrated that card, and Shinji Kanda illustrated this one. The regulation mark there is G, and here it is H.

The illustrator line reads Shinji Kanda. I count 25 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shrouded Fable set binder is where a full Shrouded Fable set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Slither Wing can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). Themed lists that include this exact card are Paradox Pokémon and Bug Pokémon. I still need this card.
