Ampharos is Pokédex #181, generation 2 (Johto). Ampharos ex is a Stage 2 ex Lightning Pokémon with 330 HP. The card says it evolves from Flaaffy. In this catalog that name is Flaaffy (#180).

Ampharos ex sits at 16/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos, position 16 of 165. Before it is 15 Flaaffy, and after it is 17 Lucario ex. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on January 1, 2023. The printed size is 102. This checklist is longer, at 165 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

Ampharos (#181) has 37 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 27 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2000 to 2026. The earliest other card is Ampharos 1/111 in Neo Genesis (2000). That card is named Ampharos, while this one is Ampharos ex. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 330 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Promo. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and PLANETA Tsuji illustrated this one. 37 other cards of Ampharos list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Tsuji. I count 81 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set binder is where a full Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Ampharos can fill a slot in Generation 2 binder (Johto). I still need this card.
