Annihilape ex 32/102 · Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos

Annihilape is Pokédex #979, generation 9 (Paldea). Annihilape ex is a Stage 2 ex Fighting Pokémon with 320 HP. The card says it evolves from Primeape. In this catalog that name is Primeape (#057).

Annihilape ex sits at 32/102 in Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos, position 32 of 165. Before it is 31 Tinkaton ex, and after it is 33 Meowscarada ex. The set belongs to the Scarlet & Violet series. It was released on January 1, 2023. The printed size is 102. This checklist is longer, at 165 cards. The listed rarity is Promo.

The attack Angry Grudge lists 20× damage. The cost is Fighting. Put up to 12 damage counters on this Pokémon. This attack does 20 damage for each damage counter you placed in this way. Seismic Toss is another attack lists 150 damage. The cost is Fighting, Colorless. Weakness is Psychic ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: Pokémon ex rule: When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is G.

Annihilape (#979) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 6 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2023 to 2026. The earliest other card is Annihilape 109/198 in Scarlet & Violet (2023). That card is named Annihilape, while this one is Annihilape ex. That card lists 140 HP, and this one lists 320 HP. The rarity there is Rare, and here it is Promo. Anesaki Dynamic illustrated that card, and PLANETA Hiiragi illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Annihilape list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Hiiragi. I count 7 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set binder is where a full Scarlet & Violet Black Star Promos set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Annihilape can fill a slot in Generation 9 binder (Paldea). I still need this card.
