Hisuian Sneasler 93/189 · Astral Radiance

Sneasler is Pokédex #903, generation 8 (Galar). Hisuian Sneasler is a Stage 1 Darkness Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Hisuian Sneasel. In this catalog that name is Sneasel (#215).

Hisuian Sneasler sits at 93/189 in Astral Radiance, position 93 of 216. Before it is 92 Hisuian Sneasel, and after it is 94 Hisuian Sneasler V. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on May 27, 2022. The printed size is 189. This checklist is longer, at 216 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo.

Carry and Climb is listed as Ability. As long as this Pokémon is on your Bench, your Active Pokémon's Retreat Cost is ColorlessColorless less. The attack Claw Slash lists 60 damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "Because of Sneasler's virulent poison and daunting physical prowess, no other species could hope to best it on the frozen highlands. Preferring solitude, this species does not form packs." The regulation mark is F.

Sneasler (#903) has 4 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 2 sets. The other dated printings are from 2022. The earliest other card is Hisuian Sneasler V 94/189 in Astral Radiance (2022). That card is named Hisuian Sneasler V, while this one is Hisuian Sneasler. That card lists 190 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo V, and here it is Rare Holo. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Kouki Saitou illustrated this one. 4 other cards of Sneasler list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Kouki Saitou. I count 652 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Astral Radiance set binder is where a full Astral Radiance set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Sneasler can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Hisuian and Paldean forms. I still need this card.
