Eternatus VMAX TG22/30 · Lost Origin Trainer Gallery

Lost Origin Trainer Gallery is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on September 9, 2022. The printed size is 30, and the checklist is the same length. Eternatus VMAX is TG22/30, in position 22 of 30 on this checklist. Before it is TG21 Eternatus V, and after it is TG23 Adventurer's Discovery. The listed rarity is Rare Holo VMAX.

Eternatus VMAX is a VMAX Eternamax Darkness Pokémon with 340 HP. In the Pokédex this is Eternatus (#890), generation 8 (Galar). The card says it evolves from Eternatus V. In this catalog that name is Eternatus (#890).

Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this card. The same name is on 721 other cards in the catalog.

Eternatus (#890) has 12 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2025. The earliest other card is Eternatus V SWSH044/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Eternatus V, while this one is Eternatus VMAX. That card lists 220 HP, and this one lists 340 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo VMAX. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Mitsuhiro Arita illustrated this one. Retreat cost there is 2, and here it is 3. 8 other cards of Eternatus list a different HP.

Eternal Zone is listed as Ability. If all of your Pokémon in play are Darkness type, you can have up to 8 Pokémon on your Bench, and you can't put non-Darkness Pokémon into play. (If this Ability stops working, discard Pokémon from your Bench until you have 5.) The attack Dread End lists 30× damage. The cost is Darkness, Colorless. This attack does 30 damage for each of your Darkness Pokémon in play. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: VMAX rule: When your Pokémon VMAX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards. The regulation mark is D.

I keep a set binder for Lost Origin Trainer Gallery, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Lost Origin Trainer Gallery set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Eternatus can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Mitsuhiro Arita cards, Giant Pokémon, and VMAX cards. I still need this card.
