Regidrago VSTAR 136/195 · Silver Tempest

Regidrago is Pokédex #895, generation 8 (Galar). Regidrago VSTAR is a VSTAR Dragon Pokémon with 280 HP. The card says it evolves from Regidrago V. In this catalog that name is Regidrago (#895).

Regidrago VSTAR sits at 136/195 in Silver Tempest, position 136 of 215. Before it is 135 Regidrago V, and after it is 137 Smeargle. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 11, 2022. The printed size is 195. This checklist is longer, at 215 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo VSTAR.

Legacy Star is listed as Ability. During your turn, you may discard the top 7 cards of your deck. Then, put up to 2 cards from your discard pile into your hand. (You can't use more than 1 VSTAR Power in a game.) The attack Apex Dragon lists no damage number. The cost is Grass, Grass, Fire. Choose an attack from a Dragon Pokémon in your discard pile and use it as this attack. Retreat cost is 3. The card text says: VSTAR rule: When your Pokémon VSTAR is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is F.

Regidrago (#895) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 4 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2022. The earliest other card is Regidrago V SWSH281/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). That card is named Regidrago V, while this one is Regidrago VSTAR. That card lists 220 HP, and this one lists 280 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Holo VSTAR. PLANETA Hiiragi illustrated that card, and PLANETA Yamashita illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Regidrago list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Yamashita. I count 20 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Silver Tempest set binder is where a full Silver Tempest set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Regidrago can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
