Araquanid 48/195 · Silver Tempest

Araquanid is Pokédex #752, generation 7 (Alola). Araquanid is a Stage 1 Water Pokémon with 120 HP. The card says it evolves from Dewpider. In this catalog that name is Dewpider (#751).

Araquanid sits at 48/195 in Silver Tempest, position 48 of 215. Before it is 47 Dewpider, and after it is 49 Pikachu. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 11, 2022. The printed size is 195. This checklist is longer, at 215 cards. The listed rarity is Uncommon.

The attack Drowning Ball lists 20 damage. The cost is Water. Flip a coin. If heads, your opponent's Active Pokémon is now Paralyzed, and discard an Energy from that Pokémon. Headbutt Bounce is another attack lists 60 damage. The cost is Water, Colorless. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "It launches water bubbles with its legs, drowning prey within the bubbles. This Pokémon can then take its time to savor its meal." The regulation mark is F.

Araquanid (#752) has 7 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2017 to 2021. The earliest other card is Araquanid 46/149 in Sun & Moon (2017). That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 120 HP. Both list the rarity Uncommon. match illustrated that card, and DOM illustrated this one. 6 other cards of Araquanid list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads DOM. I count 36 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Silver Tempest set binder is where a full Silver Tempest set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Araquanid can fill a slot in Generation 7 binder (Alola). I still need this card.
