Ditto GG22/70 · Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery

Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on January 20, 2023. The printed size is 70, and the checklist is the same length. Ditto is GG22/70, in position 22 of 70 on this checklist. Before it is GG21 Hisuian Goodra, and after it is GG23 Dunsparce. The listed rarity is Trainer Gallery Rare Holo.

Ditto is a Basic Colorless Pokémon with 70 HP. In the Pokédex this is Ditto (#132), generation 1 (Kanto).

Miki Tanaka illustrated this card. The same name is on 192 other cards in the catalog.

Ditto (#132) has 31 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 19 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 1999 to 2026. The earliest other card is Ditto 3/62 in Fossil (1999). That card lists 50 HP, and this one lists 70 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Trainer Gallery Rare Holo. Keiji Kinebuchi illustrated that card, and Miki Tanaka illustrated this one. 26 other cards of Ditto list a different HP.

Sudden Transformation is listed as Ability. This Pokémon can use the attacks of any Basic Pokémon in your discard pile, except for Pokémon with a Rule Box (Pokémon V, Pokémon-GX, etc. have Rule Boxes). (You still need the necessary Energy to use each attack.) Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 1. The flavor text reads "It can reconstitute its entire cellular structure to change into what it sees, but it returns to normal when it relaxes." The regulation mark is F.

I keep a set binder for Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Ditto can fill a slot in Generation 1 binder (Kanto). Themed lists that include this exact card are All Ditto cards and Trainer Gallery. I still need this card.
