Pincurchin V 72/192 · Rebel Clash

Pincurchin is Pokédex #871, generation 8 (Galar). Pincurchin V is a Basic V Lightning Pokémon with 170 HP.

Pincurchin V sits at 72/192 in Rebel Clash, position 72 of 209. Before it is 71 Toxtricity VMAX, and after it is 73 Morpeko. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on May 1, 2020. The printed size is 192. This checklist is longer, at 209 cards. The listed rarity is Rare Holo V.

Counterattack Kerzap is listed as Ability. If this Pokémon is in the Active Spot and is damaged by an opponent's attack (even if it is Knocked Out), flip 3 coins. For each heads, put 3 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon. The attack Sparking Strike lists 120 damage. The cost is Lightning, Lightning, Colorless. Weakness is Fighting ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: V rule: When your Pokémon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The regulation mark is D.

Pincurchin (#871) has 8 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2020 to 2026. The earliest other card is Pincurchin 77/202 in Sword & Shield (2020). That card is named Pincurchin, while this one is Pincurchin V. That card lists 80 HP, and this one lists 170 HP. The rarity there is Common, and here it is Rare Holo V. Akira Komayama illustrated that card, and PLANETA Igarashi illustrated this one. 8 other cards of Pincurchin list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads PLANETA Igarashi. I count 41 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Rebel Clash set binder is where a full Rebel Clash set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Pincurchin can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). I still need this card.
