Gardevoir VMAX 76/73 · Champion's Path

Gardevoir is Pokédex #282, generation 3 (Hoenn). Gardevoir VMAX is a VMAX Psychic Pokémon with 320 HP. The card says it evolves from Gardevoir V. In this catalog that name is Gardevoir (#282).

Gardevoir VMAX sits at 76/73 in Champion's Path, position 76 of 80. Before it is 75 Drednaw VMAX, and after it is 77 Kabu. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on September 25, 2020. The printed size is 73. This checklist is longer, at 80 cards. The collector number is above the printed set size of 73. The listed rarity is Rare Rainbow.

The attack Max Cure lists 180 damage. The cost is Psychic, Psychic, Colorless. Heal 50 damage from this Pokémon. Weakness is Metal ×2. Retreat cost is 2. The card text says: VMAX rule: When your Pokémon VMAX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards. The regulation mark is D.

Gardevoir (#282) has 55 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 32 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2026. The earliest other card is Gardevoir 7/109 in Ruby & Sapphire (2003). That card is named Gardevoir, while this one is Gardevoir VMAX. That card lists 100 HP, and this one lists 320 HP. The rarity there is Rare Holo, and here it is Rare Rainbow. Ken Sugimori illustrated that card, and 5ban Graphics illustrated this one. 54 other cards of Gardevoir list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads 5ban Graphics. I count 1,629 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Champion's Path set binder is where a full Champion's Path set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Gardevoir can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). Themed lists that include this exact card are Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, and Gallade and VMAX cards. I still need this card.
