Ninjask 14/185 · Vivid Voltage

Ninjask is Pokédex #291, generation 3 (Hoenn). Ninjask is a Stage 1 Grass Pokémon with 60 HP. The card says it evolves from Nincada. In this catalog that name is Nincada (#290). The card lists Shedinja, Shedinja (#292) under evolves to.

Ninjask sits at 14/185 in Vivid Voltage, position 14 of 203. Before it is 13 Nincada, and after it is 15 Shaymin. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on November 13, 2020. The printed size is 185. This checklist is longer, at 203 cards. The listed rarity is Rare.

Cast-off Shell is listed as Ability. When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon, you may search your deck for Shedinja and put it onto your Bench. Shuffle your deck afterward. The attack Absorb lists 30 damage. The cost is Grass. Heal 30 damage from this Pokémon. Weakness is Fire ×2. The flavor text reads "Its cry leaves a lasting headache if heard for too long. It moves so quickly that it is almost invisible." The regulation mark is D.

Ninjask (#291) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 8 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2003 to 2025. The earliest other card is Ninjask 18/97 in Dragon (2003). That card lists 70 HP, and this one lists 60 HP. Both list the rarity Rare. Hajime Kusajima illustrated that card, and Tomokazu Komiya illustrated this one. 9 other cards of Ninjask list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Tomokazu Komiya. I count 248 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Vivid Voltage set binder is where a full Vivid Voltage set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Ninjask can fill a slot in Generation 3 binder (Hoenn). I still need this card.
