Yveltal 46/72 · Shining Fates

Yveltal is Pokédex #717, generation 6 (Kalos). Yveltal is a Basic Darkness Pokémon with 110 HP.

Yveltal sits at 46/72 in Shining Fates, position 46 of 73. Before it is 45 Crobat VMAX, and after it is 47 Nickit. The set belongs to the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 19, 2021. The printed size is 72. This checklist is longer, at 73 cards. The listed rarity is Amazing Rare.

The attack Amazing Destruction lists no damage number. The cost is Fire, Psychic, Darkness, Colorless, Colorless. Your opponent's Active Pokémon is Knocked Out. Weakness is Lightning ×2. Resistance is Fighting -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "When its life comes to an end, it absorbs the life energy of every living thing and turns into a cocoon once more." The regulation mark is D.

Yveltal (#717) has 27 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 16 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2013 to 2026. The earliest other card is Yveltal XY06/211 in XY Black Star Promos (2013). That card lists 130 HP, and this one lists 110 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Amazing Rare. 5ban Graphics illustrated that card, and Hasuno illustrated this one. 25 other cards of Yveltal list a different HP.

The illustrator line reads Hasuno. I count 74 other cards in the catalog with that illustrator.

Shining Fates set binder is where a full Shining Fates set goes. This card fills one slot there. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Yveltal can fill a slot in Generation 6 binder (Kalos). Themed lists that include this exact card are Giant Pokémon. I still need this card.
