Galarian Perrserker SV087/122 · Shining Fates Shiny Vault

Shining Fates Shiny Vault is a set in the Sword & Shield series. It was released on February 19, 2021. The printed size is 122, and the checklist is the same length. Galarian Perrserker is SV087/122, in position 87 of 122 on this checklist. Before it is SV086 Galarian Meowth, and after it is SV088 Galarian Stunfisk. The listed rarity is Rare Shiny.

Galarian Perrserker is a Stage 1 Metal Pokémon with 120 HP. In the Pokédex this is Perrserker (#863), generation 8 (Galar). The card says it evolves from Galarian Meowth. In this catalog that name is Meowth (#052).

Ryuta Fuse illustrated this card. The same name is on 98 other cards in the catalog.

Perrserker (#863) has 10 other cards in the catalog. Those other cards are in 7 sets. The other printings with a release date run from 2019 to 2023. The earliest other card is Galarian Perrserker SWSH008/307 in SWSH Black Star Promos (2019). Both list 120 HP. The rarity there is Promo, and here it is Rare Shiny. Akira Komayama illustrated that card, and Ryuta Fuse illustrated this one. 3 other cards of Perrserker list a different HP.

Steely Spirit is listed as Ability. Your Metal Pokémon's attacks do 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). The attack Metal Claw lists 70 damage. The cost is Metal, Metal, Colorless. Weakness is Fire ×2. Resistance is Grass -30. Retreat cost is 2. The flavor text reads "What appears to be an iron helmet is actually hardened hair. This Pokémon lives for the thrill of battle." The regulation mark is D.

I keep a set binder for Shining Fates Shiny Vault, meant to hold every card of that set. This card is one slot in the Shining Fates Shiny Vault set binder. A generation binder holds one card of each species. Perrserker can fill a slot in Generation 8 binder (Galar). Themed lists that include this exact card are Galarian forms and Meowth, Persian, and Perrserker. I still need this card.
